An update after a long time.

I neglect this thing, I really do.

Ah well, I suppose its impossible to neglect, but whatever...

I'm in the process of making lots of decisions that are probably not nearly as important as I'm making them seem to myself. I have a wedding to go to soon, and I need to buy a suit. I should be writing at the moment.

In the positive, I now weigh 179 lbs. That is in fact, 70 lbs lighter then when I started. This also means I'm no longer technically overweight - which I'm actually pretty stoked about. More importantly, my blood pressure is no longer at dangerous levels, and I'm pretty sure I won't have a heart attack at 30 now.

Will be back later, LJ friends.

So, I'm poking around formspring (which is mainly silly but fun) and I come around a absurd question that amused me. I guess I just like completly hypothetical scenarios.

Since my lj has been boring as of late, I propose a game of sorts. Answer the below silly question, providing the reasoning for your answer as well. Then, if you are so inclined, propose your own absurd question and I will do the same. This will continue in till one of us grows bored!

The question is as follows:

Say you are losing a fight with a cartoon character. Would you rather be flattened by a steamroller, or blown up like a balloon?

Something of an Updated....

Looks like I'm paying attention to this poor thing once a month, huh?

Sorry about that LJ, lets catch up. Let me see...

Well, the pathfinder game has been going great. Its been a blast and I am completely in love with the system and so is my Sunday group. I'm eagerly awaiting a new book that's coming out, because it basically has a Digi-destined/Stand User/Yugioh sort of class in it. It sounds cornball but its really a great thing.

War For Cybertron and DQ IX are both amazing games. Sadly, my transformers have been on hiatus for a bit thanks to my live subscription teetering out but I need no such thing for Dragon Quest. I can already tell I'm going to sink an absurd amount of hours into this game. Also amused that apparently, I look like Android 17 in Akira Toriyama style drawings.

Finally, I'm down to about 202 lbs as of Sunday. I think I can get below 200 by next week, which is pretty much my goal. I wouldn't mind being about 190, but I'm not going to push it too much. In truth, I'm just happy I'm healthier and more fit then before. However I have not instantly reverted into a dashing rogue, much to my dismay. I think I'm going to just have to stick with being harmlessly charming. Le sigh.

A rare occurence

I do not feel terribly good today.

In fact, I actually am a bit melancholy.

I'm going to go ahead and leave this in a link, I doubt many people want to read about it.

On a happier note, I'm about two lbs away from being the lightest I've ever been in my adult life. If I can keep up this pace, I should be at my goal weight in about a month or so. I've been working really hard at this, because I've got a really great thing I want to do when I've hit the number I want. I honestly can't wait.

Health lesson #1

...Not all meals require a meat product! My mushroom sandwich actually tasted very good. Thanks to plotbunnytiff for the suggestion.

So I've been actively trying to eat better, exercise, and hopefully lose a bit of weight in the process. Its part of my general attempt to better myself. (I'm also trying to teach myself linear algebra and grammar, maybe even start writing again.) So far, I've managed to catch enough of my language errors and lose enough weight to continue to be motivated. :D

I figure that now is the time for me to do these things. I'm at something of a long turning point in my life, and I want to be ready for it. :)

Also, Also! Pathfinder is a wonderful Tabletop game, and pretty much free. You all should check it out.

Megaman 10

Got Megaman 10 today. I am pleased, and not just because I can play Protoman from the get go. I know its not everyone's cup of tea (My roommate stared in dismay as I used my HD big screen to play what was effectively a Nintendo game, for example) but I love the fact they are making the games as if they were 8-Bit. I only hope we get more retro stuff like this, but I guess its cause I'm an old man by now.

I'd love to see something original like this. Maybe an adventure game, like Zelda or Crystalis? I'd be so happy.

Also, "Sheep Man" was a safe bet as an easy boss. :D
